Provinciale Staten Zeeland Honors Luximprint with a Company Visit
To stress its commitment and interest with the local entrepreneurial community, a delegation of the Provinciale Staten (PS) of the Zeeland province, Netherlands, took the opportunity to visit the ‘Luximprint Creative Factories’ today. The PS delegation was accompanied by representatives of Gemeente Kapelle, the local governing authorities.
High Tech Innovation in Zeeland
The Provinciale Staten delegation was led by deputy Drs. Jo-Annes de Bat, who oversees the PS’ financial, economic, maintenance, labor and communication/promotions portfolios, among others. The main purpose of the visit was to understand the actual entrepreneurial spirit and mentality under C-19 conditions while, at the same time, aiming to get an update on the high tech innovation initiatives Luximprint is actually envisaging.
Optical 3D Printing Services for Performance Plastics
After an initial introduction of Luximprint core optical 3D printing technology and how it finds its way in multi-market light design and engineering applications, some interesting discussions took place. The conversations were followed by a guided factory tour and in-process explanations of the Printoptical Platforms. To conclude the visit, a variety of innovation and finance-related topics were discussed.
Luximprint offers a broad range of 3D printing services for optical plastics, both optically performance plastics (mainly large-format optics and diffusers) and decoratively appealing solutions, such as optical textures and Optographix.
