LPS TIL 2019 Event Preview

In a couple of weeks, the next edition of LED professional Symposium + Expo opens its doors at the world’s famous Festspielhaus in Bregenz, Austria, near lake Constance. The venue is located at the borders of Switzerland, Austria, and Germany at the heart of the European Lighting Industry. Alongside LPS, the first Dali Summit and the Trends in Lighting event will complete the offering.

LPS TIL 2019 Exhibition Area

Building upon the successful launch of printed optics back in 2018, Luximprint decided to extend its presence with another booth set-up during the upcoming event edition. The event has proven to be a great meeting place for our relations in the DACH area and beyond. We look much forward to see all of them back soon!

Located at the main show area, booth #S5 will display the latest in 3D printed optics, printed reflectors, textured surfaces, and printed molds & tools. If you are looking for new ways of rapid prototyping optical components for illumination applications in a fast, flexible and cost-effective manner, please make sure you stop by at our booth and get inspired by our offering! A collection of printed reference parts and integrated applications is waiting for demonstration.Image with floorplan of LPS TIl 2019 in Festspielhaus Bregenz, Austria

Product Launch: Optographix by Luximprint

The central topic for this year will be the launch of so-called ‘Optographix‘: a unique combination of 3D printed optical graphics for interior designers, lighting designers, and light artists. You will find the latest Optographix designs displayed at our booth, alongside the other products.

Interestingly, our friends of Lightly Technologies, inventors of ultra-thin OLED like LED panels, will join us for the initial launch of their concept to the pan-European lighting industry. Fortunately, their ultra-flat yet powerful Hikari SQ LED modules go very well together with Luximprint’s creative optographical solutions. We may expect some nice project examples on display.

LPS TIL 2019 Conference Program

Like last year, we’ll team-up for this particular show with Physionary, one of our preferred optics design partners. The Amsterdam based software and design collective greatly complement our service offering. Their inventive new optics design software, most notable the Faceted Lens Technology, goes hand in hand with Luximprint Additive Optics Fabrication technology. Together, both emerging new lighting technologies have proven to be extremely powerful.

Additive Optics Design meets Faceted Lens Software

This unique ‘marriage’ of optics design and additive fabrication technology will be outlined in more detail during a lecture by Luximprint on Wednesday morning, September 25th, 11.00 am. The lecture will be titled ‘Rapid Optics Design and Manufacture for Future Proof Illumination Systems and Customized Project Lighting‘. It teaches novel approaches for lighting system engineering and lighting specification. At the same time, it keeps a strong eye on sustainability topics, such as reducing material waste and decreasing light pollution. The full conference program and schedule can be viewed and downloaded at the LED professional website.

We look forward to welcoming you in Bregenz soon for a talk. If you are interested in our services, please contact us to arrange a meeting on-site and secure your free exhibition access pass!
